We celebrated our 17th anniversary in business this year! It has been a while since we have shared what’s new with Computer Magic Training, and we have lots of exciting developments to tell you about.
Since we updated our business model in 2013, we still hear some questions about our ownership and format, so first I’d like to personally reassure you:
This year, we have been even busier than usual teaching lots of Computer Magic and Business Magic classes at our client sites – everything from Excel Pivot Tables, VBA, OneNote and PowerPoint to SQL, Email Etiquette, Root Cause Analysis, Problem Solving and Lean Business Processes. And we're really excited to bring some new course offerings to your kind attention!
New Class Offerings!
Our public enrollment classes held in our affiliate classroom locations have grown substantially – with many of the same Computer Magic instructors you have known for years – offering you the high quality you need as well as the convenience you desire.
Note: Our Mission College Blvd. public class training location MOVED to Techmart on July 1st into a beautiful new San Jose / Santa Clara venue!
We are adding some new and unique public enrollment classes taught directly by Computer Magic. You might not find some of these instructor-led courses anywhere else!
Through our new affiliation with a Microsoft Certified Gold Training Partner in San Jose on N. First Street at Trimble Road, we are now able to offer all of the Microsoft Official Curriculum (MOC) courses! All these trainers are Microsoft Certified Trainers (MCT’s) and all the courseware used for these classes are MOC materials. All of our MOC classes are available in LiveOnline format, and some of them are available in our San Jose classroom as well. Call us for additional in-classroom dates.
Looking for more targeted, focused training and don’t have time for full-day classes? We have added a series of 3-hour ShortCourses that are delivered via GoToMeeting with a “real live” instructor – we call it LiveOnline Training. Enjoy all the quality AND individual personal support you need for a great learning experience!
At Business Magic Training, our Professional Development Division, we have added 3 new Academies that will be tremendously helpful in increasing manager/subordinate or peer-to-peer communication and interaction. These open public-enrollment workshops are highly interactive with an engaging facilitator. Participants spend the majority of time participating in lively, enlightening exercises, not just listening to lectures. Classes are guaranteed to have great “Ah-Ha Moments”!
